I Am a Candidate in Vantaa in the Municipal and County Elections 2025

I am a 36-year-old mother of two, a specialist in the social and healthcare sector, and I hold a master’s degree in administrative sciences. Born and raised in East Vantaa, I now live with my family in Vaarala.

I want to be involved in making decisions that create a better and safer everyday life for all of us in Vantaa and the Vantaa-Kerava wellbeing services county. My goal is to ensure that Vantaa remains a great place to grow, learn, and live—both now and in the future.

What I Stand for in These Elections:

Ensuring a safe and supportive start for every child

Every child has the right to a safe and encouraging environment to grow in. Smaller group and class sizes in daycare and schools ensure that every child gets the support and attention they need. Early intervention is key to preventing learning difficulties and other challenges. There must be zero tolerance for bullying and schools and daycare centers must be given sufficient resources to ensure that every child can grow and learn safely.

Safe and pleasant neighborhoods

Everyone has the right to live in a safe and thriving environment. We must prevent neighborhood segregation by investing in local development and improving access to services. Safety means not only well-functioning police and emergency services but also well-maintained public spaces where residents of all ages can spend time and meet one another. Schools, daycare centers, and other public facilities must be renovated and maintained to keep our city welcoming and vibrant.

A fair employer for municipal and wellbeing services county employees

High-quality public services can only be provided by well-supported employees. The municipality and wellbeing services county must invest in working conditions and employee wellbeing. When staff are well cared for, services also function better. Good employer policies also help to tackle labor shortages.

Quick access to healthcare without unnecessary bureaucracy

Social and healthcare services must be designed around people’s needs — not administrative structures. High-quality local services must be secured so that help is available when needed. Preventive care must be prioritized, as swift access to treatment reduces both human suffering and costs. No one should be left behind, care and support must be provided at the right time.

Local nature, hobbies, and culture

Every resident of Vantaa should have the opportunity to enjoy nearby nature, engage in hobbies and participate in cultural life. Diverse recreational opportunities support the growth of children and young people while promoting the wellbeing of all residents. A vibrant and enjoyable city is built by investing in shared spaces, events and nature-friendly activities.
